Student center that connects students to learning opportunities, services, and each other ($10 million goal)

Lind Hall Renovation

The goal

The College of Science and Engineering has identified a pressing need to renovate the first floor of Lind Hall into a dynamic home base for undergraduate students in science and engineering. This facility will also support our student recruitment efforts.

Why a student center will make a difference

The college has created many programs to help students succeed in their classes, learn outside the classroom, and plan their careers. What’s missing is a student center to increase student involvement in these programs. By improving student success and the overall undergraduate experience, this center will support the recruitment, retention, and academic preparation of talented students.

Help us meet this goal and build a bridge to tomorrow’s workforce

  • Get more students involved in important learning opportunities such as international programs, student clubs, volunteering, and diversity programs
  • Improve access to academic advising and support services
  • Increase student use of the Career Center for career planning and finding internships and jobs
  • Keep students motivated, energized, and on track
