Society of Women Engineers Big Sis/Little Sis Peer Mentor Program

Each semester, the University of Minnesota student chapter of the Society of Women Engineers pairs up freshmen/sophomore students with juniors/senior student for our Big Sis/Little Sis program. Not only will you be able to give or receive advice about college life, but students are paired with older students who with similar majors. Our program is more of a "family-style" mentorship program where matches aren't restricted to only two people. At the beginning of the semester, those who signed up for the program attend a Get to Know Your Sis lunch or dinner. After that, pairings will meet up regularly throughout the semester at BS/LS events or on their own.
