The College of Science and Engineering's Program for Women works to recruit and retain women faculty and students in the physical sciences, mathematics, and engineering by fostering an environment that helps them achieve their full potential as scientists, engineers, and as leaders.

The CSE Program for Women supports outreach activities that encourage young women to pursue careers in the science, engineering, technology, and mathematics (STEM) subjects.

The program sponsors and promotes a variety of activities for:

  • Undergraduate students: Make new friends with other women who share your passion for science and engineering.
  • Women faculty members and women graduate students: Network and enhance your career through informal campus gatherings.
  • Outreach volunteers: Inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers through a variety of outreach activities that fit your interests and schedule.
  • All CSE women: Learn from accomplished women in science and engineering through the Distinguished Women Scientists and Engineers Speakers Series.
