Professor Graham Candler Elected to the National Academy of Engineering

Mcknight Presidential Professor Graham Candler was recognized by the National Academy of Engineering for development and validation of computational models for high-fidelity simulation of supersonic and hypersonic interactions. Along with Professor Candler, The National Academy of Engineering elected 104 engineers worldwide. Candler studies high-speed flight for application to future scramjet-powered hypersonic aircraft. He currently holds the Russell J. Penrose Chair in the AEM department. Candler will be inducted on Oct. 4 in Washington, D.C. Read the full article.
