Molly Kaissar graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with a Bachelor's in Materials Science and Engineering and Biomedical Engineering and a Master's in Biomedical Engineering.
Prior to joining the BME department, she was an Innovation Fellow at the University of Minnesota's Bakken Medical Devices Center, where she dedicated her time to pressing issues in women's reproductive health. She has also worked on alternative cardiac assist devices and various tools for first responders.
As a graduate student, she hopes to continue working at the interface of biomaterials and medical instrumentation.
