Anthony Tabet wins prestigious Churchill scholarship

Tabet, an undergraduate researcher in Associate Professor Chun Wang's lab, is one of only 15 seniors from top colleges and research universities nationwide selected as Churchill Scholars. The scholarship will allow Tabet to spend the 2017-18 academic year at the University of Cambridge, where he will complete an MPhil in Chemistry.
Brenda Ogle elected as AIMBE Fellow

Tranquillo Lab publishes groundbreaking vessel bioengineering study

In a groundbreaking new study led by Professor Bob Tranquillo, artificial blood vessels bioengineered in the lab and implanted in young lambs are capable of growth within the recipient. If confirmed in humans, these new vessel grafts would prevent the need for repeated surgeries in some children with congenital heart defects.
