PhD student Mackenzie Callaway receives UMN President's Student Leadership and Service Award

April 9, 2019 — Mackenzie Callaway, a BME PhD student in Prof. Paolo Provenzano's lab, has been selected to receive a President's Student Leadership and Service Award (PSLSA). 

The PSLSA recognizes the accomplishments and contributions of outstanding student leaders at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. 

Mackenzie was nominated by Dave Golden, Director of Public Health and Communication at Boynton, for her work on the Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC). SHAC is comprised of undergrads, grads, professional students, and Boynton leadership, and works to improve student health and wellbeing through policy and programming. 

Mackenzie will be recognized for her exceptional leadership and service at an awards ceremony in early May.
