Student spotlight: Dannyelle Donahue

March 2020—Dannyelle Donahue knew at 14 that she wanted to become a medical device inventor. Today, her ambition remains strong, according to a University of Minnesota story

She’s a junior majoring in our undergraduate program, a research assistant at the U’s Visible Heart Laboratories, and involved in the Engineering World Health and BME Society student groups, among other activities.

Someday, she hopes to design a medical device that could be used in low-income countries.
