Coating Process Fundamentals Short Course
Register now for this two-day Coating Process Fundamentals Short Course offered in-person at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities on June 2-3, 2022. The course features in-person lectures, opportunities for discussion with instructors, and a poster session. The course director is CEMS Professor Lorraine Francis.
This course provides coating engineers, scientists and researchers with an understanding of the principles of liquid-applied coating processes, including dip coating, slot coating, curtain and slide coating, multilayer coating and roll coating; and solidification phenomena, such as drying and stress development, and fundamental topics important to liquid applied-coating processes, such as wetting and rheology.
