Minnesota Chapter of ASM International – March 2026 Symposium

The Minnesota Chapter of ASM International invites you to its annual symposium, titled, Materials Characterization of Coatings, Substrates, and Surfaces.

About the Symposium

This full-day symposium brings together industry and academic experts to explore current methods and emerging technologies in materials characterization, with a focus on coatings, substrates, and surface analysis. The event will include technical presentations, vendor exhibits, and an optional tour of the University of Minnesota Characterization Facility (CharFac).

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

An optional tour of the University of Minnesota Characterization Facility (CharFac) will take place after the final session for those who are interested.

  • MN ASM Sustaining Member Table: $225

  • Non-Sustaining Vendor Table: $350

(Vendor table fees include table rental and attendance for one employee.)

Registration is available via QR code on the flyer or at the event website.

Additional Information

  • Parking will be available at the Church Street Garage on the University of Minnesota campus. Parking validation will be provided.

  • Exhibitors will be present throughout the event with information on services and equipment.

  • In-person attendance is preferred; virtual access may be available.
