2025 IPRIME Meeting Brings Together Researchers and Industry Leaders

The 2025 IPRIME Annual Meeting took place May 27–29 on the University of Minnesota Twin Cities East Bank campus. More than 270 participants, including industry representatives, University faculty, and graduate students, attended the three-day event.

The meeting opened with a workshop on Circularity and Waste Reduction of Materials, organized by Professors Lynn Walker and Alon McCormick. Speakers from PPG, Ecolab, Medtronic, HB Fuller, Dow, Cargill, Andersen Windows, and 3M shared insights on sustainable materials practices.

The Annual Meeting serves as a key platform for knowledge exchange between academic researchers and industry partners, supporting IPRIME’s mission to foster collaboration and innovation. IPRIME supports research across six cross-disciplinary program areas that are highly relevant to industry members. In addition to the Annual Meeting, IPRIME hosts a mid-year workshop each January.
