CEMS Ph.D. Candidates Awarded Prestigious Dissertation Fellowship

The Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science is proud to announce that several of our outstanding Ph.D. candidates, Shivasheesh Varshney (MatS, Jalan group), Harman Dewantoro (ChEn, Daoutidis group), Meenal Rathi (ChEn, Dutcher and Zasadzinski groups), and Eric Rachita (ChEn, Ellison and Hillmyer groups), have been awarded the Doctoral Dissertation Fellowship (DDF). This competitive University-wide fellowship recognizes exceptional doctoral students who have demonstrated significant academic achievement and are in the final stages of completing their dissertations.

The DDF provides recipients with full support for one academic year, allowing them to focus entirely on completing their research.

Congratulations to our students on this well-deserved recognition!
