Kelsey Stoerzinger Wins 2025 Marks-Ipatieff Award in Catalysis

Chemical Engineering & Materials Science Associate Professor Kelsey Stoerzinger is the recipient of the 2025 Marks-Ipatieff Award in Catalysis. The Award, administered by the American Chemical Society, recognizes an early-career investigator for outstanding chemical experimental work in the field of catalysis or high pressure. Stoerzinger will be recognized at the ACS National Meeting in San Diego March 23-27, including a symposium in her honor. Stoerzinger’s research develops catalysts for the storage of renewable electricity and its use in upgrading carbon feedstocks, conversion of waste to fertilizer, and distributed chemical production.
