Michelle Calabrese Recognized with McKnight Presidential Fellowship

CEMS is thrilled to announce that Michelle Calabrese has been named a McKnight Presidential Fellow at the University of Minnesota. This prestigious fellowship recognizes outstanding faculty who have recently been promoted and tenured, and it highlights Michelle Calabrese's exceptional work as an Assistant Professor.

Professor Calabrese’s research focuses on the design and characterization of novel soft materials, with a particular emphasis on the use of rheological and scattering techniques. Her work explores structure-property relationships in materials that are critical for applications in areas such as sustainability, drug delivery, polymeric coatings, and separations. Additionally, Professor Calabrese has contributed to the development of new instruments, techniques and sample environments for rheology and scattering, enhancing research capabilities both nationally and internationally.
