Satish Kumar Selected to Deliver 2025 William R. Schowalter Lecture

We are proud to share that Satish Kumar, Distinguished McKnight University Professor in the Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science, has been selected to deliver the 2025 William R. Schowalter Lecture at the Annual Meeting of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE). This honor recognizes his outstanding contributions to fluid mechanics and chemical engineering.

The William R. Schowalter Lecture celebrates the legacy of a pioneering researcher and leader whose career encompassed foundational research, visionary academic leadership, and international scientific engagement. Each year, the lecture features either a leading academic in fluid mechanics or a prominent speaker who addresses broader topics in the chemical engineering profession.

Professor Kumar will deliver the lecture on Wednesday, November 5, from 6:15 to 7:15 p.m. EST. An abstract for his lecture will be available soon.
