RAUL CARETTA
PROFESSOR, PRINCIPAL FACULTY ADVISOR IN CHEMICAL ENGINEERING
Research Interests
Caretta's research interest is focused in surface science. Using surface analysis techniques such as Auger electron spectroscopy, x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy and secondary ion mass spectrometry among others, we specialize in the characterization and understanding of surfaces and interfaces. Research projects of interest cover a range of scientific disciplines including surface chemistry, catalysis, corrosion, semiconductors, polymers, biomedical materials, and materials for medical implants. Professor Caretta is not available for graduate advising.
