Posting Your Jobs and Internships

We strongly encourage employers to post jobs in Handshake to ensure they are visible to candidates in advance of the Career Fair. Posting your positions in Handshake allows us to help you promote your positions to students attending the event and to help students prepare for the fair. If students need to apply for your positions directly through your organization, Handshake allows you to specify that.

Please note: When promoting your position to students at the fair, the student cannot search by the Job ID number in Handshake. Instead, please ask students to search by position title and company name.

Representatives

Registration includes admission for three representatives. You may register additional representatives for a fee of $80 per person until the Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024 deadline. Companies will be charged $125 per person for any representative that attends the career fair and is not pre-registered.

If representatives want to split work shifts, please see the information in the Splitting Shifts section below. We request you have no more than five representatives at a table at any given time due to space limitations.

Splitting Shifts

Employer representatives may choose to split shifts throughout the day. However, only the number of registered representatives will be provided with meal tickets and parking vouchers. CSE Career Services will bill employers after the Career Fair for additional representatives who are not pre-registered and who attend day of the event.

Additional meal tickets and parking vouchers will NOT be available for purchase the day of the fair. If additional representatives would like to have meals provided and receive a parking voucher, those representatives need to be registered prior to the fair. To add representatives to your registration, please contact Joe St. Jacque at jstjacqu@umn.edu.

Parking

Employer representatives who are registered for the Career Fair should park in these lots in the order they are listed. If a lot is full, please go to the next lot on the list. Since there is a short walk from the parking lot to the Career Fair entrance, you are encouraged to drop your materials off at the loading dock if you would like assistance.

Prior to the fair, a QR code used to validate parking will be emailed to the representative who registered your company. Please coordinate with that person to receive final confirmation details. Additional QR codes will be printed and accessible at the arena as a backup. All codes are the same and work for everyone.
