Career Fair information for employers

College of Science and Engineering Career Fair 

The College of Science and Engineering at the University of Minnesota is ABET accredited and hosts two Career Fairs each academic year. These career fairs are a great opportunity to connect with talented students and recent alumni from 20 majors. For more information on the majors we offer, visit the CSE undergraduate majors page.

Fees

Registration

  • For-profit employers - $925
  • Government or non-profit - $475
  • UMN departments - $300

Add-ons 

  • Adding a second table - $925
  • Additional representatives - $100 per person
  • A/C power - $75
  • Additional late representative - $150 per person (applies to representatives added after Aug. 13 or to any unregistered representatives who attend the event)

Representatives

Registration includes room for three representatives at your booth. Any additional representatives must be registered in advance. Due to space constraints, we ask that you do not register more than five representatives per table and that you have only registered representatives at your table. Any representative added after Aug. 13 or any unregistered representative who attends the event will incur a $150 fee per person. This includes representatives who split shifts.This includes representatives who split shifts.

Planning Ahead and Items to Bring Day of the Fair

  • Temperature
    • Mariucci is an ice hockey arena, and the temperature is much cooler. If you tend to feel cold, plan to wear extra layers, especially if standing in one place for longer periods of time.
  • Practice
    • There is a possibility that the UMN Gopher hockey team or figure skating team may hold practice during the career fair. This is beyond our control. If practice does take place, events on the ice may become louder during the fair. We apologize in advance.
  • Catered Lunch Provided
    • A catered lunch will be provided for the representatives included in your invoice.
  • Business Cards
    • This will make check-in much smoother but is not required.
  • Name Tag
    • To reduce printing, we ask that you bring your own name tag.
  • Power
    • Power is not provided to every booth, and you will need to pay $75 to request it. Any requests to add power after Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2025, will be denied.
