Undergraduate students are invited to invest their time and talents to inspire the next generation of scientists, engineers, and mathematicians.
Outreach events
Undergraduate volunteers are needed to help with outreach events and activities. These opportunities provide leadership experience and the chance to teach youth about science, engineering, and mathematics.

Other ways to volunteer
- Be a peer mentor for incoming CSE first-year students. Visit the CSE Ambassadors website.
- Lead tours and escort future CSE students and their families during campus visits. Email the CSE Ambassadors at cseamb@umn.edu.
- Join a student group. Many groups do outreach and community activities. See a list on the CSE student groups web page.
- Volunteer at robotics competitions or mentor robotics teams. Visit the Minnesota FIRST Robotics website or visit the FIRST LEGO League website.
