CSE Alumni Social and Curling Lesson
After a one year hiatus, curling is back just in time for the 2022 Winter Olympics! Join your fellow University of Minnesota College of Science and Engineering alumni for an opportunity to learn this unique Olympic sport. All guests will receive a curling lesson, followed by the chance to put your new-found skills to the test and play a game. After the lesson, we'll gather for lunch and social time.
CSE Alumni Society Board members will also be on hand to tell you about the Board's mission, upcoming alumni events, and additional ways you can connect with the college, other alumni, and current students. Come find out more about how you can get involved!
9:45 a.m.—Check-In
10 a.m.-Noon—Curling lesson
Noon—Optional social time, lunch to go
Cost:
$35 per curler
FREE for spectators who do not intend to curl
Registration deadline is Wednesday, Jan. 26.
Cost includes curling instruction, a game of curling, and lunch. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at the bar. Those who plan to curl must be a minimum of 16 years old, but spectators of any age are welcome.
PLEASE NOTE: CSE follows guidance from the University, local health departments, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to ensure the health and safety of event attendees. The University requires facial coverings for all individuals in any indoor space at a University-related event, even those held off campus, regardless of vaccination status (except while eating and drinking). If you are sick or feel you are getting sick, we ask that you please stay home. Refunds will be offered in the event of illness.
