Engineers Without Borders: How CSE students are making a difference

Registration Required
Join representatives from the U of M chapter of Engineers Without Borders (EWB) to learn how CSE students are making a difference around the world. Current partnerships in Guatemala, Ethiopia, and the Twin Cities aim to improve quality of life in those communities via projects focused on clean water accessibility, agricultural practices, and urban gardening.

FEATURED SPEAKERS: Laura Amundson, EWB mentor and CSE alumna; Jacob Hermann, EWB chapter president; and Dani Alfonzo and Sneha Sinha, project leads

The UMN chapter of EWB works to implement environmentally and economically sustainable engineering projects that empower communities to meet their basic human needs and equip leaders to solve the world’s most pressing challenges. Their goals are achieved through cooperation with each other, fellow institutions, communities, and mentors on the basis of commitment, persistence, and concern for the recipients of their efforts.
