Keeping Our Faculty VIII: Recruiting, Retaining, Advancing American Indian Faculty and Faculty of Color

We invite you to join us as we gather to engage cross-disciplinary theories, rigorous scholarship, and innovative practices to advance conceptual, empirical, and practical work to recruit, develop and retain faculty of color. This symposium will bring together scholars, practitioners, and leaders committed to understanding and promoting faculty diversity in academia. Our 2019 theme: Power, Policy, and Academic Freedom. College and university leaders (to include deans, department heads, and diversity officers), scholars, including graduate students considering a career in higher education, and policy makers from all disciplines are encouraged to attend.
