Minnesota Water Research Fund Webinar: "Do Stormwater Ponds Improve Water Quality?"

Registration Required

MWRF | Minnesota Water Research Fund

Stormwater ponds are primarily designed to remove solids and phosphorus before runoff reaches sensitive downstream ecosystems. But recent research has demonstrated that urban stormwater ponds can experience internal phosphorus loading under certain conditions. Our research explores the drivers of internal phosphorus loading in stormwater ponds as well as some of the remediation strategies available to combat it.

Join us for this research presentation from the Minnesota Water Research Fund featuring Department of Civil, Environmental, and Geo- Engineering Ph.D. candidate Vinicius Taguchi and Professor Emeritus John S. Gulliver.
