Presentation and Visit to Eolos Wind Turbine
Join the College of Science and Engineering and your fellow alumni at an exclusive free presentation about and visit to the Eolos Wind Turbine this summer. Space is limited, so register today!
6 p.m.—Presentation on Eolos Wind Research Field Station and light dinner
7 p.m.—Visit to the Eolos Wind Turbine
Attendees will meet at the Rosemount Research and Outreach Center to hear a presentation about the history of the Eolos Wind Research Field Station and the research being done there. During the presentation, a light dinner will be served. Following the presentation, attendees will drive to the Eolos Wind Turbine and will be able to enter the base (weather permitting).
PLEASE NOTE: The visit to the Eolos Wind Turbine requires walking on gravel and uneven ground. Because the Eolos Wind Turbine is a working laboratory, children under 12 are not permitted.
