The future of space is as bright as the stars!  From the JWST to LUCY to DART to VERITAS, there are more missions than ever before working to study our universe. Join the Bell Museum planetarium team as we explore the future of astronomy and share live views of the night sky through our telescopes (weather permitting).

Special Guests

Sanath Aithala, Ph.D. student, geology, UMN: Sanath Aithala is a second-year Ph.D. student working in the experimental petrology lab at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities. Sanath’s research is focused on understanding the accretion, differentiation, and evolution of rocky, terrestrial bodies.

Matt Metzler, undergraduate student, geology, UMD: Matt Metzler is an undergraduate student at the University of Minnesota, Duluth, graduating this semester with department honors in geology. His background is in economic/exploration geology and as a result, he has extensive knowledge about natural resources on and out of this world.
