For 175 years, the University of Minnesota has been a hub of innovation and a home to generations of proud alumni. On Thursday, October 8, it’s time to celebrate and elevate the U's legacy together!
The University of Minnesota Alumni Association is inviting every alum, student, friend and fan from all five campuses of the U to light up the state and the world in Maroon and Gold during University of Minnesota Alumni Day. Here's how to participate:
Rep Your Colors: Wear your Maroon and Gold gear from dawn until dusk, wherever you find yourself. Share a photo to your social media using #UMNproud and let us know where you're celebrating from.
Join the Alumni Toast: The centerpiece of this global celebration. Attend a fun, casual gathering alongside fellow alumni, or toast your way with an informal meetup at home, a local park, or your favorite neighborhood spot. Snap a photo of your toast and post it on social media using #UMNproud and your toast city/state so we can give you credit on our Alumni Toast Global Map at umnalumni.org. Bonus points if you post using the phrase "I'm proud to be a UMN alum/friend because ..."
