CSE By the Numbers: CSE Outcomes (Class of 2018)

More than 94 percent employed or continuing school

The numbers are in for the Class of 2018, and the future looks bright for CSE graduates. Six months after graduation, more than 94 percent of CSE grads were employed, continuing school, or making progress toward a career. Of that 94 percent, 77 percent were employed, 19 percent were attending grad school, and 4 percent had other plans including the military, internships, additional undergraduate education, or volunteer work.

Those employed had an average starting salary of $65,210—more than $15,000 higher than the salary for college graduates nationwide.

CSE graduates are also continuing to fuel the region's high-tech economy with 74 percent of CSE graduates staying in Minnesota, and 83 percent staying in the Midwest. See more statistics below.
