Give to the Max Day was a success
College raises more than $35,000 in one day to support students and programs
The 2018 Give to the Max Day on Nov. 15 was a success for the College of Science and Engineering. CSE exceeded its $10,000 goal for theTaylor Student Projects Fund by raising $10,265 for experiential learning initiatives. A special thank you to alumni leader Ronald L. Christenson (ME ’72) and his wife, Janet, for their $10,000 dollar-for-dollar match.
Gifts to the Taylor Student Projects Fund fuel project activities in the Anderson Student Innovation Labs and many other visible projects, like the Solar Vehicle Project and the CSE Winter Light Show presented by the Tesla Works student group.
In addition, CSE alumni and friends gave more than $15,000 on Give to the Max Day to support other programs and scholarships across CSE.
Here's what students had to say about the impact of alumni giving.
