Co-op Program Options for CSE Computer Science BS Students

CSE Co-op Overview (for CSE CSCI BS students only)

Computer Science BS student in the College of Science & Engineering (CSE) should pursue their co-op program their the college's program. More details on this program can be found on the CSE Co-op Program website. CSE students in Computer Science will take CSE 4896 and CSE 4996 as part of the program. These courses only qualify as free elective credits and cannot be used as technical electives or be substituted for other course requirements in the program.

Regarding CLA Computer Science BA students and co-op:

Due to recent policy changes by the Office of Undergraduate Education, CS&E discontinued CSCI 3970, which previously allowed our College of Liberal Arts (CLA) Computer Science BA students to pursue co-op opportunities. Unfortunately, CLA does not currently have a co-op course option to allow for CLA students to pursue co-op opportunities.
