Abraham Jaeger Mountain Wins 2026 Riedl TA Award
Department of Computer Science & Engineering graduate Abraham (Abe) Jaeger Mountain has earned the John T. Riedl Memorial Graduate Teaching Assistant Award for 2026. This award recognizes graduate teaching assistants whose efforts have helped other students succeed in the classroom. In addition to the recognition at the CS&E Graduate Student Graduation Celebration, each recipient will receive a $2,000 prize.
Abe, an Electrical Engineering PhD student, was selected for their dedication and service to the students.

Before his untimely passing away in 2013, Professor John T. Riedl, himself a devoted, exceptional teacher, asked that funds contributed by his friends and colleagues be used to establish this memorial award.
