Computer science senior is closing the STEM gap

Maximilian N. Lando Scholarship recipient Swati Rampali co-founded the student group Code the Gap, which is introducing underrepresented kids to science and technology fields.

An expansion of the 2021 Bakken Medical Devices Center Internship Program gave two teams of science and engineering students the opportunity to explore the world of medical device cybersecurity and interact with Center for Medical Device Cybersecurity industry members. These students, photographed in June 2021, focused on developing an efficient system to help hospitals authenticate users of medical devices to ensure patient wellbeing.
