Teaching faculty positions

The Department of Computer Science & Engineering is seeking instructional staff with a wide variety of backgrounds, experience, and education. Please read the descriptions below and apply for the position that most closely matches your own experience and education. The target date for applications is March 31, 2023. Applications will be accepted until all positions are filled. 

Teaching Faculty (all ranks) - Must have a Ph.D. in computer science or a closely related field and at least two years of teaching and course design experience. Teaching faculty are expected to teach five courses per year, design courses, as needed, and engage in departmental service and outreach.

Lecturer - Must have a Ph.D. in computer science or a closely related field and at least two years of teaching and course design experience. Lecturers are expected to teach five courses per year and have no service or outreach obligations.

Teaching Specialist - Must have at least an M.S. in computer science or a closely related field and at least two years of teaching and course design experience. Teaching specialists are expected to teach five courses per year and have no service or outreach obligations.
