At 10:23a.m on 3/20/2024, We, CSE-IT began receiving reports of a burnt UPS. Symptoms include: no access to some file servers and umh's.

At 11/30, 10:17 am, CSE-IT began receiving reports of PDU Power outages in the Keller Hall datacenter.

At 8:50, CSE-IT began receiving reports of a power outage in Keller Hall.

At 12:23 p.m. on 04/07/2023, CSE-IT began receiving reports of connection issues with VOLE 2D. Symptoms include timing out when attempting to connect to VOLE. The root cause is known and we are working with OIT to resolve the issue. The current workaround is to connect to VOLE 3D or connect to a lab machine with FastX.
Emergency Maintenance: Keller Hall Network

OIT will be performing network maintenance in Keller Hall from 5:00 to 6:00 am on Friday, February 10. Connections to individual machines and CSE Labs machines or services such as VOLE may be briefly disrupted

At 10:51 a.m. on 2/3/2023, CSE-IT began emergency maintenance on csel-atlas.cselabs.umn.edu. In the meantime, please use the CSELabs Remote Linux Login Cluster (login01.cselabs.umn.edu to login07.cselabs.umn.edu).

At 2:08pm on 9/27/22, CSE-IT began receiving reports of an unresponsive file server. Symptoms include: inability to log into ssh, VOLE, and FastX.
MyU and other PeopleSoft Applications unavailable on April 23 & 24

On April 23 and 24, 2022 (Saturday and Sunday) MyU and other PeopleSoft applications will be unavailable while University IT makes upgrades.

At 4:36, CSE-IT received reports of multiple computers in Walter Library being unable to access the network.
