MyU and other PeopleSoft Applications unavailable on April 23 & 24

On April 23 and 24, 2022 (Saturday and Sunday) MyU and other PeopleSoft applications will be unavailable while University IT upgrades the PeopleSoft development platform, PeopleTools, to version 8.59. This upgrade helps our PeopleSoft systems remain stable and secure, and ensures that we retain vendor support. 

The project team has engaged our business partners to conduct pre-upgrade testing and to coordinate the timing of the upgrade to minimize disruption to the University. Please make note of this outage and plan accordingly.

Impact

  1. MyU and PeopleSoft applications, and some applications dependent on them, will be unavailable while the upgrade is in progress.

  2. After the upgrade, PeopleSoft users will notice some minor changes to the interface. 

Communications

  1. We will communicate broadly to the University community, via Brief, MyU and banner messages. 

  2. During the weekend of April 23-24, updates will be available on the University’s Service Status page.
