Outage Description

At 9:20am, CSE-IT began receiving reports of network outages in Walter. Symptoms include: Unable to connect to to the internet from Walter.

Outage Updates

  • 5/30/2024, 9:20 a.m. At 9:20am, CSE-IT began receiving reports of issues regarding network and power outage in Walter Library. Symptoms include: No internet access from Walter, no access to some file servers and UMH's. We are still investigating the cause(s) of this issue and we will update this notice once service is restored.
  • 5/30/2024, 10:26 a.m. At 10:26am, CSE-IT was notified that the power for Walter has been restored. CSE-IT is still working on restoring networking for some file servers and UMH's.
  • 5/30/2024, 10:26 a.m. At 10:45am, CSE-IT was notified that the network has now been restored. If you are still encountering issues, please contact CSE-IT.
