Zou elected Fellow of the ASA

Hui Zou was elected Fellow of the American Statistical Association for "fundamental contributions to high-dimensional statistics, machine-learning and statistical computing and for editorial service.” This award, which was presented at the 2019 Joint Statistical Meetings, follows his election as Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics in 2015. Zou is professor in the School of Statistics and a member of the Data Science graduate faculty.
