Paper authored by Professor Keshab Parhi and alumnus Xingyi Liu featured in Quantum Zeitgeist

A paper authored by Professor Keshab Parhi (Erwin A. Kelen Chair in Engineering) and alumnus Xingyi Liu (Ph.D. 2023) was recently featured by Quantum Zeitgeist in their technology news section. Quantum Zeitgeist provides news and analysis on quantum computing and the quantum technology industry.

Titled “Reservoir computing with dynamic reservoir using cascaded DNA memristors” and published in IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Circuits and Systems in February this year. The paper offers a new approach to molecular and DNA memristors which allows for cascading. The development is particularly significant for the applications it can potentially support in areas such as drug delivery, protein therapy, DNA storage, and gene editing.
