Run for a cause!

Are you ready to be part of the “coolest” 5K of the year? The Freezin’ for a Reason 5K is a charity race that will be held rain or shine (or blizzard) and take you around the University of Minnesota’s East Bank and West Bank. Both runners and walkers are welcome to participate, as well as community members outside the University.

Registration cost:
$20 – Until November 1
$25 – After November 1

Register here!

Runners will receive an awesome long sleeve T-shirt and post-race snacks.

Runner check-in: 2:30 p.m. in Appleby Hall, Room 102
Race begins: 4:30 p.m. Northrop Plaza

All of this year’s race fee will go to the All Hands Volunteers, an organization that supports those areas affected by natural disasters (in particular those affected by hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria).

If you don’t want to participate in the race, you can show your support by volunteering to staff the event. Volunteers can sign up here!
