Bill Fine Postdoctoral Researcher

The William I. Fine Theoretical Physics Institute (FTPI) is seeking applications for the Bill Fine  Postdoctoral Researcher position in theoretical physics. The position is open for qualified candidates working in all areas of contemporary theoretical physics. A selected candidate is expected to conduct research in collaboration with one or more of FTPI members, which currently include Professors A. Chubukov, A. Kamenev, K. Olive, M. Pospelov, M. Shifman, and B. Shklovskii. Applications from underrepresented groups in theoretical physics, such as women and minorities are particularly encouraged.  

The appointment is expected to start on September 1, 2021 and will be for two years with a possible extension of a third year. The application must include CV, list of publications, statement of interests and at least two letters of recommendation. The deadline for receipt of the applications is March 1, 2021.

This year, the search is targeting applicants in high-energy theory, broadly construed.
