Andrey Chubukov Awarded 2018 Bardeen Prize

In August of 2018, FTPI Professor Andrey Chubukov was awarded the John Bardeen Prize, shared with Igor Mazin and Sebastian Doniach, for "seminal contributions to the theory of unconventional superconductivity, including applications to the iron-based superconductors."

The John Bardeen Prize was established in 1991 by the International Conference on the Materials and Mechanisms of Superconductivity (M2S) in honor of Dr. John Bardeen. The Prize is funded by the Physics Department at the University of Illinois.
