Block Placer

What is it?

The block placer widget is a widget which allows you to use pre-made blocks. These blocks are usually information that has been used frequently enough to warrant having a pre-made version.

Display options

Unless you request to have a pre-made block made, the most useful aspect of this widget is the Parking block, which shows a map of the parking areas on campus. To add this block to your page, select "Parking" from the Custom Block drop-down menu located on the edit page.

The Block Placer widget also offers an option to add a background color. To customize the background color of the widget, select the "Background style" drop down menu on the edit page.
