What is it?
The Button widget allows you to add easy-to-see links within a colored rectangle, as well as a text block to provide context for the links.
How do I use it?
You can type a custom header for button widget in the "Widget Title" section. Below the title, you can add and edit text and format it just like a normal text block, and this text will appear above the button.
The “Link Text” appears on the button itself, and the “URL” is for the URL of the page to which the button links. For example, in the screenshot below, the button would take you to the Google homepage. To add multiple buttons on one section of the page, click the “Add another item” to add a new button.
You can customize the button widget with different colors, placements, and angles:
- The Button Placement drop-down menu allows you to orient the buttons above, below, to the left, or to the right of the text field.
- The Background Style drop-down menu lets you change the background to a preset color, or to a custom image.
- The Widget Angle drop-down menu will slope the top of the widget left or right.
