Crop and Resize Images

Before putting images onto your departmental or unit website it is important to make sure they are appropriately sized to avoid cut off images, blurry or pixelated images, and oversized images.

There are many tools available for editing images. This documentation focuses on the free built-in tools Preview for Mac and Paint for Windows in addition to providing online resources that can crop and resize images as well.
