Designed and manufactured by Kazuto Kodama. A spinner magnetometer setup to measure strongly magnetic samples, such as paleomagnetic cores of igneous rocks, that are too strong to measure on the 2G u-channel system.

  • Manual 6 position spinner magnetometer.
  • Accommodates standard paleomagnetic cylinders and cubes.
  • Useable measurement range in current configuration: 1 x 10-6 Am2 -- 1 x 10-4 Am.

Can be used in conjunction with the DTech AF demagnetizer system for demagnetization of NRM for paleodirectional analysis.
