Carol Parendo, Senior Technical Fellow at Collins Aerospace, brings a wealth of experience in engineering and statistical methods. This talk will explore Collins Aerospace’s rich history, including its roots with the University of Minnesota, and its evolution to where it stands today. In her current role, Carol supports the entire Collins aerospace organization while collaborating across RTX, ensuring excellence in product quality. She will share insights from her versatile career journey, including highlighting the critical expertise she applies to advance innovation and maintain high standards in the aerospace industry.
About the Speaker:
Carol Parendo is currently a Senior Technical Fellow for Collins Aerospace. Her expertise is Statistical Methods for Process Quality. Parendo uses her expertise in statistical methods to solve problems in quality, manufacturing, design and reliability engineering. She is a statistics educator and an effective leader. Parendo developed and taught multiple. Collins Aerospace Technical University courses, which encompass the entire product life cycle. She currently holds leadership positions by leading the Quality CoP, serving as an ASTM E11 Quality and Statistics Member At Large and by representing ASQ as a Vice Chair for the RAMS (Reliability and Maintainability Symposium) Management Committee.
