About the Speaker:
Nicole L.C. Nelson is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the retail industry, having held significant positions at Target, Best Buy, and Abercrombie & Fitch. At Abercrombie & Fitch, she currently serves as the Senior Vice President of Data & Analytics, where she leads decision sciences, data sciences and data engineering as well as strategic initiatives to leverage data for business growth and operational efficiency. Previously, Nicole worked in a similar role at Best Buy, where she centralized data science and machine learning functions across the enterprise as well as led Pricing. Her career also includes a tenure at Target, where she contributed to various analytics and business intelligence projects. Nicole’s expertise lies in harnessing the power of data to optimize retail operations, enhance customer experiences, and drive profitability. She holds a Master’s in Organizational Development from the University of Saint Thomas, and a degree in Economics/Mathematics from Smith College.
