IE 3521—Statistics, Quality, and Reliability

Description: Random variables/probability distributions, statistical sampling/measurement, statistical inferencing, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, single/multivariate regression, design of experiments, statistical quality control, quality management, reliability, and maintainability.

IE 5541—Project Management

Description: This is a foundational course for CSE Senior Capstone/Design courses and will prepare students for Project Management industry certifications. Students will gain an introduction to engineering project management that is applicable to internship/industry experience. Coursework covers analytical methods of selecting, organizing, budgeting, scheduling, and controlling projects, including risk management, team leadership, and project management.
