How are admissions decided?

Decisions regarding admission and financial aid are made on a competitive basis among the applicants to our programs. We limit our admissions based upon our resources to support students financially through assistantships.

Note: There is no way we can accurately assess your chances of acceptance without seeing your completed application

When will decisions be made?

We ordinarily admit new students for Fall semester only.  You can expect a decision by March.

Please note that all major US universities are signers of the April 15 resolution. Signers of this resolution agree that no offer of financial support requires an acceptance prior to April 15.

All applicants will receive a decision by May 1. 

How will I be notified about decisions?

Admissions decisions will be available through the admissions system at Applicants who are admitted to our program will receive offers of support, when applicable, from the program. Alternate admits will be notified by the program as an admissions decision can not be entered in the admissions system until we know if we are or are not able to admit alternates.
