Jeffrey Calder Receives NSF CAREER Grant Award

Jeffrey Calder, Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics has been awarded a CAREER Grant from the National Science Foundation for his project titled: "Harnessing the Continuum for Big Data: Partial Differential Equations, Calculus of Variations, and Machine Learning."

The CAREER Award is a prestigious award offered by the NSF to support early career development activities of teacher-scholars that integrate research and education.
