Tyler Lawson named a Fellow of the American Mathematical Society

January 21, 2022 — The American Mathematical Society (AMS) has recognized Math Professor Tyler Lawson as one of its 2022 Fellows.

Professor Lawson was selected for his contributions to algebraic topology and homotopy theory, in particular the Brown-Peterson spectrum.

AMS members are designated as Fellows for making outstanding contributions to the creation, exposition, advancement, communication, and utilization of mathematics.
